Eco -Friendly lifestyle

An Eco -friendly lifestyle is slowly but surely becoming not just a choice but an actual necessity in our present world. This is because our natural resources are quickly depleting and the environment is suffering from extreme forms of pollution. Thus the Going Green slogan is being religiously pushed by most organizations in the world at the moment. Going green is basically engaging in practices that will lead to the conservation of the environment not just for us, but for future generations to come.
There are three main rules to follow to ensure you maintain an Eco -friendly lifestyle.

Recycle items
All over the world countries have become very involved in the need for recycling. Almost all garbage bins now have a recycle compartment with the famous recycle symbol. This is to prevent inorganic substances from ending up in land fills. This type of waste contains a lot of toxins that are very harmful to the environment, it causes water, air and soil pollution. Recycling is not only good for the environment it is also a smart economic move. It saves on the extra costs that are needed to make items from scratch.

Re-duce the consumption of products.
Energy is required for the production of almost all items. Purchasing energy efficient products is very essential in the quest to conserve energy. These products include energy efficient bulbs like the CFL bulbs which last 10 times longer than ordinary bulbs. Going green also involves the reduction of our carbon footprint for example opting to take public transport instead of always driving to save on fuel. This also involves simple practices like unplugging appliances when not in use and taking shorter showers.

Re -use items
Items do not necessarily to be used just once and tossed away. Disposal should only be done once all the possible needs for the item have been exhausted. There is always someone who wants want you no longer need, giving way items to charity is always a better idea than just tossing items away.
